Lecturer, Linguistics and Modern Greek Language

The Seeger Center for Hellenic Studies and the Council of the Humanities at Princeton University invite applications for a Lecturer position (one-year, renewable) in Linguistics and Modern Greek language, to begin September 1, 2014.  The successful candidate will be appointed full-time jointly in the Council of the Humanities and the Program in Hellenic Studies.  Teaching duties will include courses in Modern Greek language (elementary to advanced), as well as in linguistics.  Candidates with comparative interests and a commitment to excellence in research in any area of linguistics are encouraged to apply.   The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to proficiency-based teaching of the Modern Greek language.  Ph.D. completed or expected by start date.
