This conference aims to re-frame the future of Modern Greek Studies by reclaiming Greek culture as a field of research, learning and community engagement. Participants are invited to explore alternative perspectives on Greece as a renewed field of research through discussion of past and present aspects of Greek Studies and how these have impacted and continue to impact the contemporary Greek world.
Connections and interconnections between ethnic, religious and diasporic communities within the Greek world and beyond, and efforts to build bridges between these communities and universities in the form of study opportunities, research, and projects, is also of interest.
Participation is open to academics across disciplines, graduate and postgraduate students, early career researchers and representatives of institutions and organizations, as we explore the multifaceted aspects of Greek Studies as a form of study, research and community engagement, as well as the lived reality of Greek intercultural and interconnected identities.

Conference registration: AU$150 (inc GST)
